University tests have recently proven that the unique chemistry of AGR Science & Technology ’s AGRiliq stock feed provides significant benefits in feed conversion and stock yield.   

A study conducted by Dr J.P. Goopy and Professor J.V. Nolan of the School of Environmental and Rural Science at the university of New England, NSW, concluded that AGRiliq stock feed increases fibre digestibility over molasses/urea by 47% and thermally treated molasses/urea by 26%.

The study also found that AGRiliq increases microbial protein production in the rumen over molasses/urea by 19% and thermally treated molasses/urea by 26%. This better utilization of fibre and increased microbial protein production is shown to be a result of AGRiliq stock feed’s unique chemistry which provides:

  •  a matched release of energy and protein in the rumen
  • a sustained release and beneficially recycled protein source available to rumen microbes
  • greater propanoic acid production, which is an important co-factor for weight gain in meat production, and milk protein and yield in dairy applications.
