Bladex, from Agnova Technologies  is a selective herbicide for weed control in peas, chickpeas, faba beans, vetch, lentils, potatoes, onions and sweetcorn.

Features of Bladex selective herbicide:

  • Compatible with a lot of tank mix partners
  • High crop safety
  • Facilitates highly selective weed control in various vegetable and field crops
  • Good contact activity plus 4 to 10 weeks control of a wide range of broadleaf and grass weeds
  • Good crop safety
  • Short persistence with low potential for plant back issues
Bladex selective herbicide promotes clean crops, produces higher yields, and encourages even maturity. It provides four to ten weeks control of a wide range of broad leaf and grass weeds, including tough weeds black nightshade, nettles and certain Brassica weeds.

After using Bladex selective herbicide, there is only low potential for plant back issues. It primarily has residual action to control emerging weeds through root uptake. It also is taken up by young emerging shoots and has contact action through the foliage of small emerged weeds (<3cm).

Weed death is caused by energy starvation due to its effect on photosynthesis. For good residual control, Bladex selective herbicide needs to be applied to moist soil or have rain/irrigation within seven days of application.
