Epricare, from Ancare Australia is a broad spectrum pour-on treatment for the control of cattle ticks and parasites, both external and internal.  

The active ingredient of the pour-on cattle treatment is Eprinomectin, of the macrocyclic lactone chemical family, in a ratio of 5mg/1ml.  

Features of the pour-on parasite and tick treatment include:

  • high safety margin
  • accidental overdosing by up to 3 times has no effect on breeding capabilities
  • quickly absorbed
  • rapid action
  • unlike moxidectin, eprinomectin is stored away from fat, limiting its excretion into milk
  • controls parasites for up to 28 days after treatment (dependent on parasite)

The pour-on treatment for cattle parasites has an application dose of 1ml per 10kg of body weight and is available in 2.5, 5 or 10 litre packs.  It is applied along the animals back line.
