Stud and commercial cattle from Apis Creek Brahmans

Apis Creek Brahmans , situated in Marlborough QLD Australia, focuses on breeding stud and commercial cattle of high quality. Apis Creek Brahmans is managed by Tim and Lynette Olive. A premium grey Brahman commercial female herd and five single stud herds that are sire-registered form the core of the Apis Creek Brahman stud.

Tim and Lynette have introduced elite US and Australian genetics to add fresh bloodlines to the existing high quality cattle. Embryo programmes along with artificial insemination and IVF are conducted to improve cow families. Apis Creek Brahmans plans to develop six single sire groups of 50 stud cows of elite bloodlines, which will supply the required number of bulls to serve its commercial herds.

Apis Creek Brahmans is determined that only registered sires shall be used to breed the commercial cows to ensure consistency in the production bloodlines of herd bulls. Apis Creek Brahmans provides grassfed bullocks to the domestic as well as Japanese chilled beef market.

Both grass and grain-fed premium commercial bulls can be purchased at Apis Creek Brahmans throughout the year. Cattle from Apis Creek Brahmans also take part in the annual cattle sales organised at the Ponderosa Sale - Katherine, NT, in May and the Wilangi Invitation Sale at Charters Towers, QLD, in November.
