Aus Organic Feeds has just released an organic ruminant protein mineral lick designed for ruminants in drought conditions.
The organic ruminant protein lick has a 28% protein content and a balance of vitamins and minerals to provide the necessary elements for maintenance when stock only have access to dry, low quality pasture.

It is recommended that the organic ruminant protein mineral lick be fed ad-lib and while consumption will vary, trials indicate that a 300kg beast will consume approximately 500grams per day. Initially they may eat more than this however they will settle over a period of a couple of days into normal consumption levels. This will then allow shy feeders access to the lick as well.
The main ingredients of the organic ruminant protein mineral lick are soy and sunflower meals and the ration is compliant with the USDA National Organic Program (NOP). This ration is available in 25kg bags or in bulk.
