Bald Blair Angus  specialises in cattle breeding and supplies bulls to commercial producers. Bald Blair Angus has about 550 head of purebred Angus commercial herd. This breed is being run on Bald Blair Angus and other associated properties. Bald Blair Angus was established in 1888.

Bald Blair Angus has approximately 200 Herdbook, APR and Recipient Dams that are brought each year for stud bull and stud replacement females. Bald Blair Angus’ commercial herd includes selected sires for cattle breeding. Bald Blair Angus’ commercial herd is exported to Japan and its steers are delivered to Rangers Valley Feedlot, Glen Innes. A majority of the commercial female sires are currently used by Bald Blair Angus as replacement females.

Bald Blair Angus has sires which include Ardrossan Connection, Prairiedge Marbull, Baldridge Nebraska, Bald Blair Highmark, B/R New Frontier, Twynam Yarraman, Perry Power, N Bar Bando, Hyline Right Time, Bald Blair Future Direction, Bald Blair Power, Bald Blair Director and Bald Blair Bushman.

The Ardrossan Connection sire from Bald Blair Angus is an Australian offspring of ‘Future Direction’ stud bull. The calf has a good growth and carcase traits and is used in the Bald Blair Angus’ herd as a calving ease sire.
