Commercial cattle from Banksia Ridge Murray Grey Stud


Banksia Ridge Murray Grey Stud  deals in commercial cattle and currently runs a herd of 110 breeding females. The breeding females are reared in two places, One place has Murray Grey studs with 50 registered breeding females, while the place has commercial herd with 60 Murray Grey and Murray Grey cross females. The studs were grown from commercial Gelbvieh operation. Banksia Ridge Murray Grey Stud bought about 30 registered females from South Australia. Banksia Ridge Murray Grey Stud offers bulls, cows and semen for sale.

Over the last three years, Banksia Ridge Murray Grey Stud has artificially inseminated all female cows in order to improve its herd. Banksia Ridge Murray Grey Stud’s property is equipped with dams, bore and acres of bush.

Banksia Ridge Murray Grey Stud’s cattle are raised only on a grass diet which is obtained entirely from the property. The farm is supplied with surplus amount of water that is pumped from dams and bore. The dams and water courses are fenced to reduce land degradation and improve water quality. Banksia Ridge Murray Grey Stud aims to provide better stud bulls and cows.
