Braidwood Saleyards , also known as Palerang Council, is a community directory which provides a range of services such as tourism information services, library services, community services, engineering services and planning and environment services.

Braidwood Saleyards provides community services which include committee management, library services, out-of-school-hours care, community consultation forums, public information and cultural development commemorations such as youth week, senior citizens week and Australia day. The executive service department of Braidwood Saleyards is responsible for freedom of information, privacy, occupational health and safety, risk management, records management, rural transaction centre and community technology centre.

The local area of the Braidwood Saleyards includes the towns of Bungendore, Braidwood and Captains Flat as well as outlying villages of Araluen, Mongarlowe, Majors Creek and Nerriga, and areas of Wamboin, Burra, Bywong, Hoskinstown and parts of Carwoola and Sutton.

Braidwood Saleyards holds meetings on second and fourth Thursdays at the Braidwood Meeting Room and Bungendore Council Chambers respectively. All meetings commence at 6 pm.
