The 8000 series pasture drill commercially known as CSN Machinery is highly designed for direct drilling into pastures. The CSN Machinery provided by John Shearer is a member of the Arrowcrest Group, well-known in manufacturing seeding and tillage machinery in Australia.

CSN Machinery (Connor Shea 8000 series Pasture Drill) has a built in drill that is used to obtain the optimum results from the combination of coulter, baker boot and coil tyne. The frame in this CSN Machinery provides effective strength as its weights to give efficient operation of the coulters in providing a slot in which the baker boots can pass with minimal disturbance into existing pasture species.

Each CSN Machinery from John Shearer is equipped with a variable seed, oil bath gearbox that allows the operator in selecting any required rate suitable for their application. The rubber gate allows the drill to handle every size of seeds.

The metering mechanism used in CSN Machinery utilises the three row fluted roller for the seed and peg tooth roller for the fertilizers. The four available size includes 13, 16, 19 and 22 sowing rows and in either linkage or trailing. Features of CSN Machinery include dual large Zincanneal hopper, solid wide loading platform, electronic hectaremeter monitors, shaft performance and hectares sown and many more.
