Case IH Magnum 335 tractors tested as the highest horsepower conventional tractor in the recent independent Nebraska test report. With the ability to deliver optimum return on investment for Australian farms, the Magnum 335 offers higher power without compromising on versatility.

John Dreves, Tractor Brand Manager with Case IH said Magnum 335 tractors meet the industry’s demand for more pulling power. “With farm sizes increasing, growers are pulling larger, heavier implements to work more ground in one pass. The Magnum 335, rated at 205 PTO kW (275 hp) and delivering a 47 per cent torque rise, is designed to develop, maintain and consistently deliver the power required for larger implements.”

With hitch lift capacity testing at 8,998 kgs, Magnum 335 tractors have the required hydraulic power for the larger and more challenging equipment. The lift capacity is attained by improved hitch lift, high hydraulic operating pressure and built in tractor ballast that improves stability.

Magnum 335 tractors deliver a fuel efficient operation by way of the Automatic Productivity Management (APM) system that can automatically adjust the engine speed and transmission ration. Tested at Nebraska, this attribute provided savings on fuel of up to 21 per cent.

The Nebraska tests also rated the sound levels in the cab at 69dB (A), helping to reduce fatigue of the operator and increase productivity.

John Dreves said “In short, the Magnum 335 has the lugging power, staying power and pulling power to hang in there, even in the toughest of conditions. It’s a versatile tractor, with the ability to control compaction, increase traction efficiency, deliver comfort and reduce operating costs.”
