Case IH dealerships are in the midst of delivering the highest number of combine harvesters in many years. With the new 88 and 20 Series Axial-Flow combines proving themselves in-field, and limited units still available, growers are urged to upgrade now and potentially take advantage of the Federal Government’s 50 per cent Small Business Tax Break incentives.
“Confidence in the new 88 and 20 Series combines, coupled with good availability, means we’re now working hard to pre-deliver a record number of combines in time for the winter crop harvest,” said Case IH Marketing Manager Stuart Brown.
“Supply of new combine harvesters has been extremely tight in recent years, so any grower looking to get the most out of this years’ harvest with highly productive equipment is urged to come and see us to avoid missing out, particularly with demand at such strong levels.”
Stuart says the impressive performance of the new model Axial-Flow combine harvesters has helped drive demand.
“The new 88 and 20 series Axial-Flow combine harvesters were thoroughly put through their paces during the summer crop harvest and delivered some truly outstanding results,” he said. “We’ve had some feedback on the performance of the 8120 Axial-Flow from a leading contract harvester who reported a peak performance of 147 tonnes per hour, and an average of 110 tonnes per hour in uneven crop conditions in their recent sorghum harvest. In a good even crop, they reckon they could have easily averaged 140 tonnes per hour.”
Axial-Flow combine harvesters are incredibly efficient and designed to make the work day shorter by maximising productivity, while ensuring reliable operation. With their single in-line rotor design, gentle crop-on-crop threshing is guaranteed, resulting in a clean grain sample with more whole kernels.
