Case IH’s Puma range of tractors combine broadacre capability with row crop power to create a versatile, tough workhorse that can handle just about any on farm task. With five tractor models ranging from 127 hp to 224 hp, the top-of-the-range Puma 225 comes with Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) as standard.

“The Puma range of tractors is ideal for use in hay, dairy, broadacre and cane haulage operations,” said Case IH Marketing Manager, Stuart Brown.

“A major advantage of the new transmission is its ability to achieve 100 per cent mechanical drive at typically high draft load conditions of approximately 5 km/hr, resulting in fuel-efficient operation, increased productivity and ongoing reliability for tough Australian conditions.

“In addition, the new transmission is designed so that 50 km/hr can be achieved at a fuel-saving 1550 RPM engine speed, leading to reduced fuel consumption and quiet operation.”
