Farmers with older-model International Harvester (IH) tractors and harvesters can now obtain rare or superseded parts thanks to a new partnership between CNH Australia and Boss Engineering.

Based in Narrandera, New South Wales, Boss Engineering specialises in the manufacture of parts for rare and superseded models of tractor or combine harvester and has extended its range of genuine International Harvester parts to suit the ever-popular and wide ranging IH 3-4 and 3-5 offset disc machines.

“We have provided original drawings to Boss Engineering so all parts are guaranteed genuine and are made according to stringent quality controls,” said Robert Quinn, CNH Australia’s Aftersales Sales and Marketing Manager.

These parts are available to customers throughout Australia from their local Case IH dealership.

“With their well-deserved reputation for rugged reliability, strong build and sturdy design, many older models of IH equipment are still widely in use by Australian farmers,” explained Boss Engineering’s Managing Director, Maurice Russell.

“The components for all parts we make are Australian-made and superbly cast by one of Australia’s leading foundries, Steele & Lincoln. They use only 100 per cent new feed iron with no recycled scrap, so the quality is outstanding. We’ve obtained original casting patterns from CNH to produce original parts, not copies, so we can provide a full lifetime warranty against faulty workmanship or material.”

“We’re pleased to partner with a high-quality parts manufacturer like Boss Engineering to ensure our customers can keep their older-model machinery in good working order,” said Robert. “Knowing that these replacement parts are genuine and guaranteed will give our customers peace of mind and allow them to continue using the equipment that has served them well for years.”
