Natural Zeolites for animal husbandry from Castle Mountain Zeolites
Castle Mountain Zeolites provides a powdered form of Zeolites that can increase animal growth rate and improve feed conversions. In animal husbandry, Zeolites are mixed along with prepared rations, suitable for dogs, horses and also in commercial lick blocks for cattle.
Zeolites can improve the feed conservation in chickens and pigs. In the animal husbandry industry, Zeolites, provided by Castle Mountain Zeolites, can be used for treating diarrhoea in horses and scours in pigs. Zeolite also helps in malodour controls. When ruminants are supplied with Zeolite, it decreases the emission of methane gas. This is considered as a contributing feature in the production of greenhouse gas.
Sand Zeolites, produced by Castle Mountain Zeolites, can be used in treating floor coverings, vehicles, stables and other animal holding areas. Zeolite also helps in increasing safety in feeds containing urea and effluent management. Zeolite reduces malodour, especially ammonia and other nitrogen containing compounds of putrescence.
Zeolites can also be used as a source of mineral nutrition. Currently, Zeolites from Castle Mountain Zeolites are sold under the APVMA permit, as a feed additive.
