Elite females from Clunie Range Angus Stud

Supplier News

Clunie Range Angus Stud  provides elite females with embryos and flushes available from donors like the Naomi family, the Twinkletoes family and the Gypsy family. Clunie Range Angus Stud has flushed 7 cows from maternal line with the Naomi family. The family originated from an original flush of Bando 598 siblings that gave Clunie Range Angus Stud 4 females and one bull.

In 1997, the bull was awarded with 10,000 dollars in New England Angus Breeders Bull Futurity. The Twinkletoes family started from the original six stud females purchased by Clunie Range Angus Stud from the Grimstead stud.

The Gypsy family started as the first home bred donor line by flushing J1 a Renovator daughter from one of Clunie Range Angus Stud’s original Grimstead foundation females. The J1 retired at 13 years and was a top performer in the herd with tremendous depth and doing ability.

Clunie Range Angus Stud purchased Princess Y24 from Ardrossan as an embryo in utero. As a self-replacing herd, Clunie Range Angus Stud has high emphasis on fertility and calving ease. For a commercially focused herd progeny and seedstock are produced for the Japanese and Korean markets.
