Colour Vision Systems provides packing solutions with Integra, an advanced packing technology used for packing apples. Integra is a complete fruit grading conveyor solution. Integra was designed for blemish, colour, weight, shape, size for a range of regular shaped produce.
Integra was fabricated using the leading grading technology for gentle fruit handling application. Integra is designed and built to withstand the rigours of the fruit industry. There is no need for periodic maintenance with Integra. During the packaging stage high cup fill rates are achieved. Fruit rotation speed is controlled by the vision system. The plastic and mechanical parts in Integra are made from water resistant materials.
Integra can be used to pack apples, oranges, mandarins, lemons, grapefruit, apricots, peaches, plums, nectarines and tomatoes. The numbers of lanes available in Integra are 1 to 16, with maximum number outlets of 128. Integra also features with a 17 inch IBM colour monitor computer and printer.
With Integra, customers can pack up to 250 cartons of apples and oranges per hour per lane. In case of tomatoes it can pack up to 300 cartons with an average size medium 10kilo gram carton. The crash proof feature in Integra solenoids for minimal maintenance. Integra also features with a grower accounting programs and data for spreadsheet analysis.
