Duplex WG fungicide offers disease control and protection against downy mildew, black spot, grey mould and phomopsis in grapevines. Active constituents include 666g/kg Captan and 150g/kg Metalaxyl.

The fungicide should be applied before any sign of disease although if infection is present, Duplex WG should be applied immediately.

Multi site activity and a phenylamide fungicide have been combined to produce Duplex WG.

  • Multi site fungicide with low risk of resistance
  • Can be used at any stage of the crop, very safe

Duplex - Captan and Metalaxyl

  • IPM friendly compared to Medley MZ/Ridomil MZ
  • More diseases controlled than Medley MZ/Plus (only have DM)
  • Protectant and curative/systemic activity, however best to use as a protectant 
  • Relatively low cost product
  • Short with holding period, 7 days compared to 14 days
  • High quality granular water dispersible formulation

Duplex WG is both a Group M4 and a Group 4 for fungicide resistance management.
