Disc openers from Daybreak Equipment
Daybreak Equipment provides two different types of disc openers namely, the Daybreak disc opener and Daybreak cane opener, specifically designed for a broad range of field operation applications. The Daybreak disc opener is applicable for irrigation and broadacre applications.
The Daybreak disc opener caters to every row space down to 330 millimetres and a range of soil types and other conditions. A few advantages of Daybreak disc opener include an ultra-low soil disturbance because of its disc, a better penetration (with its large disc and mass), and a patented closing system that can provide seed placement.
The opener uses gauge wheel to close the slot. The wheel can return the soil to the slot without inversion that result in possible contact of the seed to the moist soil without mixing of dry topsoil. The Daybreak disc opener is suitable for applying Anhydrous Ammonia.
The Daybreak disc opener is easy to adjust. It allows separation of levels of seed and fertiliser. With Daybreak disc opener, seed or fertiliser can be positioned accurately from the surface at a normal speed. The disc can be used to remove loose top soil during deep sowing process.
