Dow AgroSciences Australia  has entered into a corporate partnership with AgForce to provide AgForce members across Queensland the latest information on best practice weed and pest management.

The first crop protection company to form a partnership with AgForce, Dow AgroSciences will provide expert advice and information directly to 6,500 AgForce members across the broadacre, beef, sheep and wool sectors in Queensland.

George Saville, Dow AgroSciences Marketing Manager for Australia and New Zealand describes the partnership as a logical step following last year’s financial support for the AgForce Queensland Flood Relief campaign from The Dow Chemical Company Foundation.

In addition to strengthening their relationship with growers across Queensland, the partnership will also allow them to provide information about solutions to weed and pest problems in their farming operations. Dow AgroSciences’ specialist knowledge of woody weed and regrowth control in pastures will benefit AgForce members not only in terms of access to the latest information on weed management but also by providing direct access to Dow’s technical support team.

According to Wendy Allen, Partnership Director with AgForce, the partnership with an international crop protection company will help grow the membership base as producers across the state look for best practice solutions to ongoing issues such as woody weed management.
