Eastern Plains Angus  runs a strict Bald Blair Angus stud across Australia. Eastern Plains Angus was established in the year 1985. Eastern Plains Angus comprises of 300 commercial cows, 150 HBR and APR cows. With the help of these cows Eastern Plains Angus produce their replacement females, bulls for their own property bull sale.

The bull sale from Eastern Plains Angus is normally held on the first Tuesday every August. About 140 steers from Eastern Plains Angus go to supply feedlots for the long fed B3 export market. Eastern Plains Angus conducts inspection prior to the sale. Eastern Plains Angus runs its cow herd under a strict commercial condition.

Eastern Plains Angus aims at providing productive and fertile cattle which are structurally sound with good calving, high growth rates as well as with good meat quality attributes. Female studs and maiden heifers join Eastern Plains Angus for a period of nine weeks and six weeks. These females and maiden heifers undergo a pregnancy test. Females are in addition culled in case if they require assistance at the time of calving or if they exhibit structural defects.
