For people in the farming business in south-eastern Australia, the Henty Machinery Field Day (HMFD) is an event that brings together companies and their customers in one place to network and learn about the latest agricultural products and machinery available.
Known for its size, reputation and strong history of showcasing agricultural technology and expertise, the Henty Machinery Field Day is the only field day endorsed by the Tractor and Machinery Association of Australia (TMA), the industry’s peak body.
Representatives from www.fatcow.com.au will be attending Henty Machinery Field Day and see the event as an essential networking, educational and marketing opportunity.
FatCow will be on hand at HMFD to answer people’s questions about using industry specific online directories for advertising their businesses. FatCow services the farming, agricultural and horticultural sectors.
Taking place on the 21, 22 and 23 September, Henty Machinery Field Days give companies the opportunity to promote their goods directly to their customers. These include agricultural machinery, grain, livestock, construction, hardware and small equipment amongst a huge range of other products.
Over 50% of visitors attending HMFD do so with the specific intention of purchasing machinery. Whether it is an immediate purchase on the day or the initial conversations at the field day that spark interest that lead to a decision to buy, HMFD is an important part of the promotion that leads to a sale.
Visitors to Henty Machinery Field Day are usually seeking information on products and services to reduce costs and improve their productivity. An essential aspect of the event is the networking opportunities that give farmers the opportunity to ask their questions of suppliers about new innovations and equipment to help them make informed choices about their business and purchases.
As always, Henty will focus heavily on agricultural machinery but this year's event will also focus on cropping and grazing, thanks to a 2.5ha trial plot at the field days site.
Highlights of HMFD are the awards including the Henty Machine of the Year Award, The Land Newspaper/NSW Farmers Farm Inventor Awards and TMA Best Australian Agricultural Machine Award.
Henty is situated midway between the regional cities of Wagga Wagga in southern NSW, and Albury Wodonga sitting on the NSW Victorian Border. The field days site is located on an 120ha site.
