Virbac Animal Health is continuing to support the Australian agricultural industry through ongoing investment and local manufacture. Its newest venture, the Virbac Vaccine & Industrial Development Centre (VIVID) will be officially opened on June 21.
The centre will be opened by Senator Chris Back from WA, the Deputy Opposition Whip in the Senate, and the only qualified veterinarian in Federal Parliament.
As a vital component of thier multi-year $10 million investment in increasing capacity at the Penrith site, the facility will help researchers and scientists work towards new and more effective ways to prevent and treat animal health issues.
It will also increase the manufacturing capacity of the business so Virbac can continue to meet increasing demand from Australian producers and animal owners for world class livestock vaccines and other Virbac products.
