South Australia’s leading lobby group, the South Australian Farmers Federation has been dissolved as a result of a near unanimous vote.
The SAFF will be replaced with a new group, the Primary Producers SA due to pressure experienced under the former group including loss of members and financial pressures according to ABC Rural.
The restructure of the group will only see lobbying on prominent farming issues such as transport and drought relief measures with each commodity group within the Primary Producers SA will lobbying on specific issues relating to this.
