This year the Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Sciences (ABARES) is to hold 7 one-day Regional Outlook conferences around Australia. There will be one in each state and the NT.
ABARES provides integrated economic and scientific research, analysis and advice to government and industry on policy issues facing the agriculture, fisheries and forestry sectors.
Each conference is tailored to its specific region and features locally-based speakers and ABARES presenters. The conferences are an essential part of The Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Sciences’ delivery of commodity forecasts and research results to rural and regional communities.
The conferences deliver agricultural information, such as:
- Local agricultural data and innovative business practices through to the global commodity overview
- Commodity forecasts
- Industry trends
