A.F. Gason announce acquisition of Chris Grow Engineering

Well known mower and slaher designers, Chris Grow Engineering have been acquired by A.F. Gason .

Announcing the agreement, Gason’s sales and marketing manager, Peter Piddington, said that Chris Grow Engineering has built an enviable reputation designing and manufacturing quality mowers and slashers that are suited to both local and export markets.

“Chris Grow was established at Uraidla in the Adelaide Hills in 1977 with the aim of providing a specialist service designing and manufacturing tractor drawn mowing equipment. Since then the company have produced a wide range of mowers and slashers that have been embraced both locally and exported to markets in the USA, France, Spain and New Zealand,” Piddington said.

He said that Gason would continue the extensive research and development programs that has been undertaken by Chris Grow Engineering. These have resulted in new and innovative mowers and slashers that meet the demands from agriculture, local government and contractors.

“The joining of the Gason and Chris Grow Engineering will build on the company’s product range and allow better utilisation of plant and equipment to deliver better outcomes for clients,” Piddington added.
