Stud rams and ewes from Geejay

Geejay  specialises in producing stud rams and ewes for commercial breeders. Geejay started the stud in the year1980. In the year 2000, Geejay purchased a Konongwootong ram that was sired by the top ram Kurralea 52/97. The Konongwootong ram was a Reserve Champion at the 98 Melbourne Royal.

In the year 2004, Geejay purchased two twin rams from Deloraine Downs. These rams continued to breed a majority of twins. Later, in the year 2005 Sucker selling season, rams sired by Geejay rams made to the top price category. Geejay aims at high early growth lambs to serve those clients who wish to sell lambs between 14 -18 weeks of age.

Geejay’s rams have short and dense wool which aids in sucker lamb production. In the year 2001 and 2002, Geejay attained top price and top average at the Kerang ram sales. Later, in the year 2003, GeeJay sired lambs which were sold at a higher price. Geejay conducted a second annual sale on 25th September 2007 and offered three stud rams, 60 flock rams and 12 ewes and some ewes with lambs at foot.
