Groundgrocer.com is a new website selling composting equipment and related services

Supplier News

A new Australian-based website dedicated to the sale of composting equipment and related services has recently been launched by GroundGrocer .
Groundgrocer.com is a full e-commerce-enabled online shop for:

  • composting equipment
  • composting products
  • compost thermometers
  • moisture meters
  • microscopes
  • compost tea brewers
  • compost bins
  • worm composting; and
  • bioactive soil additives.
Owned and operated by GroudGrocer, an Australian registered company in Northern NSW, the site features a wide variety of imported and Australian-made hardware and 'wetware' (biologically-active additives and compost ingredients).

“We have gone to great lengths to ensure that the online shopping experience is safe and secure - a critical aspect for any website wanting to engender trust with online shoppers. When purchasing from Groundgrocer.com, customers’ financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 2048-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology. This high level of encryption is above-average in the industry”, said Lynton Burger, a co-founder.

Groundgrocer.com is unique in that it offers proven technology solutions to the full spread of compost makers - from commercial composters, farmers, and waste resource managers through to home gardeners.

Groundgrocer.com ships composting equipment and products globally and also offers 'offline' professional composting business development services.

Groundgrocer’s other co-founder Greg Hallett, a well known and respected figure within the Australian composting fraternity, is using the new venture to fulfil a long-held dream of assisting composting businesses in developing countries and is currently engaged in business development work for composting operations in Fiji and Myanmar.
