Hay Stack Covers

Hay Caps, available from Hay Cap , are a simple and safe way to cover large bale stacks of hay. Lynda Snowden and husband Phil have witnessed a sharp rise in hay stack cover demands since feedback from recent field days was positive and the hay season has been in full swing. Hay Caps use waste plastic and convert it into an affordable, practical and durable product.

The Hay Caps are reusable, simple to use, and applied at ground level in less than a minute. The covered bales are then placed at the top of the stack as the customer builds it. They are made from 3mm thick food grade recycled plastic which is flexible, durable and said to last approximately 10 years. They are UV stable and vermin proof, and simply stack on top of each other when not in use. Hay Caps can also be used after the stack is built, or with big bale stackers, still without leaving the ground.
