Hay Cap Covers - Cover your hay the safe way

What are Hay Caps?
Hay Caps are a simple and innovative way to cover hay stacks.

Made for large square bales, Hay Caps are applied at ground level. The covered bales are then stacked into place on the top of the stack as you build it. Folds together, creating a roof over the hay bales.

Invented by Riverina hay producers Phil and Lynda Snowden, the simplicity & safety of the Hay Covers is what makes this product so innovative. Farmers often comment to the Snowden’s “why wasn’t this thought of years ago.”

”Initially many farmers will just buy 10 – 20 Hay Caps to try them out”, says Phil, “and then re-order more because they are just so happy with them. The feedback from farmers has been overwhelming”.

Patented and trademarked, Hay stack covers are made from 3mm thick food grade recycled plastic and take less than a minute to put on. They are flexible, durable, UV stable, vermin proof, and simply stack on top of each other when not in use.

With an expected lifespan of over 10 years, and the convenience of storing hay almost anywhere, Hay Bale Covers are the most economical storage solution on the market today.

Hay Cap Feedback

“Congratulations on a great all round package – ease of ordering, timely delivery, easy to follow instructions & a hay cover that I can put on myself without the need to get off the ground. It is almost too good to be true. What was once a very time consuming, dangerous job has now been made very safe and simple. Thank you.”
