Hazelton Brahmans  is involved in the breeding of livestock. The Brahmans were introduced in 1960 and for establishing purity of this breed only full blooded bulls were used by Hazelton Brahmans. This policy has now been relaxed and currently an Indo-Brazil blood has been introduced for superior fleshing properties.

Hazelton Brahmans is involved in producing cattle with have good weight for age and a uniform fleshing. Small herds of some complementary infused breeds are also available from Hazelton Brahmans. In 1970 Hazelton Brahmans inseminated about four hundred Brahman cows with Charolais bulls. The resulting offspring with ¾ Brahman content had desirable characteristics. The offsprings had increased adaptability and tolerance towards external and internal parasites. These animals were also found to be tolerant towards drought conditions.

Hazelton Brahmans offers sires and bulls for sales. Hazelton Square Pants is one of the bulls offered by Hazelton Brahmans. This horned young sire has a good temperament and thickness. This sire is also used for the ET programme by Hazelton Brahmans. Hazelton Stars and Stripes offered by Hazelton Brahmans is a young bull having a good bone structure and thickness.
