Multifunction sub-surface soil probes with salinity and temperature compensation

EnviroPro® sub-surface Soil Probes are robust, long-life, maintenance-free sensors for use in all soil types. The design compensates for moisture measurement variations in salinity, and compensates both moisture and salinity measurements for temperature changes.

All probes are fully encapsulated and factory calibrated to provide reliable and repeatable outputs. EnviroPro® soil probes have sensors at fixed 10cm vertical centres and are SDI-12 compliant.

  • Easy field installation
  • SDI-12 compliant output
  • Interface to all digital loggers
  • Facilitates fertiliser optimisation
  • Suitable for all crop root depths
  • Designed and made in Australia
  • Set-and-forget maintenance-free
  • Field upgradable to include Salinity
  • CE, RCM/C-Tick and FCC EMC compliant
  • Optional SDI-12 to RS-485 converter
  • Never needs re-calibration in the field
  • Wide range 6 to 15 VDC auxiliary supply
  • Temperature-compensated measurements
  • Salinity-compensated moisture measurements
  • Purpose made Installation and Removal tools

The standard SDI-12 and optional CMOS and RS-485 outputs make for simple connectivity to all types of telemetry and logging equipment. Applications include irrigated trees, flowers and crops, as well as dry-land farming and plantation, mining and environmentalist work. The 40, 80, 120 and 160cm long versions suit most applications and root depths.

Moisture and Temperature versions may be upgraded to include EC Salinity in situ. Australian-made with local support, EnviroPro® probes are backed by a 5-year no-nonsense replacement warranty. The EnviroPro® Series is the economical choice in multipoint, multifunction, sub-surface soil probes.
