New acquisitions to reinforce Integrated Packaging’s growth strategy

Supplier News

New acquisitions by the Integrated Packaging Group (IPG) are expected to reinforce the organisation’s growth and expansion plans in the coming months.

IPG acquired the business and assets of the Amcor Flexibles Packaging Plants in Cheltenham, Chester Hill and Kirrawee in February this year. These plants produce plain and printed polyethylene products including printed industrial bags, shrink film, and PVC food films. These acquisitions will reinforce IPG’s growth strategy in industrial and agricultural packaging as well as expand its interests into printing, converting and PVC food films.

IPG CEO John Cerini explains that the acquisition further enables IPG to develop its innovative, cost effective, and environmentally beneficial solutions for their customers in Australia, New Zealand and other global markets including Asia and North America.

The acquisition gives IPG additional capabilities in printing, converting and PVC food films, which will improve their technical expertise providing opportunities into new sales market segments and giving them an excellent platform for future expansion of the business.

IPG now offers a specialist range of printed and converted polyethylene films for a range of applications including collation shrink, bags, sacks and printed laminates, as well as an extensive range of agricultural crop packaging products under the Silafarm Product Family brand. Integrated Packaging also offers a full range of stretch wrapping machines and equipment.

A signatory of the Australian Packaging Covenant for sustainable packaging, a member of the PACIA Sustainability Leadership Program and of APMA (Australian Packaging Machinery Association) and ISO9001 Quality Certified, Integrated Packaging manufactures and distributes both stretch film and stretch wrapping machinery locally.
