Kismet White Suffolk Stud has been selectively purchasing top genetics with an emphasis on muscling and early maturing progeny to achieve high breeding results for clients. Kismet White Suffolk Stud was established in 1987 with the purchase of 15 Suffolk ewes. The Suffolk ewes were joined with the Poll Dorset ram. From the resultant progeny, five quality rams were retained and joined with 200 Poll Dorset ewe weaners.
At present, Kismet White Suffolk Stud joins approximately 800 ewes and 200 hoggets to produce over 1000 stud lambs. This breeding ensures that all rams are structurally sound with clean points, muscle, wool and length. The brewing technique also enables Kismet White Suffolk Stud to produce a quality line of commercial lambs for the overseas market.
Kismet White Suffolk Stud offers semen from Illoura 339 and Rene 21-6 rams that were born in 2005 and 2006 respectively. All rams and ewes are raised on irrigated pastures. Kismet Kismet White Suffolk Stud will be conducting a Spring Ram Sales on 3rd October 2008. A good selection of ewes and flock rams are also available for private sale throughout the year.
