Kubota Releases 2 New Models of Utility Vehicles to the Australian Market

Supplier News

Kubota Tractor Australia  introduces two new utility vehicles into the highly competitive Australian market.

Customer demand for utility vehicles is varied with requirements for both petrol and diesel-powered machines in compact or large-frame configurations.

After launching utility vehicles in 2005 and 2008, Kubota Tractor Australia has once again entered the market with two new models to complement the previous versions.

RTV1140 utility vehicles are the latest addition to the diesel-powered range of 4-wheel drive vehicles, adding the versatility of a transformable 4-passenger model to the extremely popular 4WD utility vehicles line-up.

Key features of RTV1140 diesel utility vehicles

  • Innovative new transformation system that quickly converts from single to two-row seating configuration
  • Allows the operator to choose between additional passenger capacity or best-in-class cargo space
  • Powered by a Kubota 24.8 HP engine driving a three-range variable hydrostatic transmission
  • 4-wheel hydraulic disc brakes, hydrostatic power steering and hydraulic bed lift as standard

While the RTV1140 is a continuation of previous models, the RTV500 is a totally new product with many exciting features.

RTV500 utility vehicles are petrol engine vehicles that offer all the in-built comfort, technology and refinement of larger utility vehicles but are compact enough to be easily transported on a trailer or even fit to the tray of some larger utility vehicles.

Key features of RTV500 petrol utility vehicles

  • Quiet, smooth and reliable high performance electronic fuel-injected (EFI)
  • Kubota petrol engine Kubota GZ460 engine features a liquid-cooled, twin cylinder design that ensures constant power delivery throughout its power band
  • EFI feature improves engine performance by providing quick and easy starts even in the most severe weather conditions as well as on-demand power and excellent acceleration
  • Variable hydrostatic transmission eliminates the need to adjust belts; provides smooth transmission-assisted braking and excellent hill holding capability

The RTV500 utility vehicles weigh only 580kg but can handle loads up to 200kg in their durable, metal dumping cargo box. The RTV500 is also capable of towing up to 500kg.

Both new models of Kubota’s utility vehicles are available for viewing at local Kubota dealerships
