Outstanding New JCB Agri Loadall Now On the Market with Distribution from Landpower

The latest JCB Agri Loadall Distributed by Landpower features the atest JCB technology 444 diesel engine, improved hydraulics and advanced transmission.

The new JCB Agri Loadalls features the latest JCB technology 444 diesel engine, improved hydraulics and an advanced transmission for greater productivity.

Mark Calcott, product manager for JCB distributor Landpower , says the new telescopic handlers incorporate a host of new innovations along with many of the features that made the previous range of JCB Loadalls a top seller.

He says New Zealand's first JCB Agri model - a 531-70 Agri Super was unveiled at the National Fieldays in June, attracting considerable interest from farmers and contractors.

Powered by a 125hp turbocharged engine, the 531-70 AS has a 3100kg payload and a maximum lift height of 7.0m. Landpower also markets the 536-60 AS model which has a payload of 3600kg and a maximum lift height of 6.2m.

Both models feature a JCB 444 engine that has been specifically developed to deliver the highest productivity. Extremely fuel-efficient and quiet, it provides high power and torque, especially at low revs, giving the power to perform rigorous loading and lifting work at low engine speeds.

The Agri 536-60 AS and the 531-70 AS utilise a six-speed transmission with 'Torque Lock'- a system that effectively locks the torque converter in fifth and sixth gears to substantially increase transmission efficiency. The Torque Lock transmission also provides three main operating modes - Eco, Power and Field - to suit the application.

In Eco mode, the transmission shifts gears four-six automatically to accelerate quickly, increasing efficiency and reducing fuel consumption. This mode is ideal for high-speed, unladen road transport.

In Power mode the Auto Position is optimised to allow the engine to reach maximum power when gear shifts are made. This is perfect for trailer towing or for operations that require a high tractive effort.

Field mode enables the operator to manually select up to gear five (normally an automatic shift) and is excellent for applications like collecting bales from a field or any activity where a single gear needs to be maintained.

Agri models also feature the new LSP+ hydraulics - a load-sensing hydraulic system that combines three dedicated pumps to give continuous flow to the cooling system, steering and all boom functions. This system provides 110litres/min of useable hydraulic flow to the load-sensing valve, allowing simultaneous movement of all services, independent of steering and cooling.

Fully proportional 'roller' buttons on the joystick enable precise control of boom extend/retract operation and all auxiliary functions. The auxiliary circuit also allows the selection of a constant flow of up to 65litre/min, allowing the driver to concentrate on the key task of driving the machine.

Another feature on the new Agri models is the Autoselect steering system which enables changes between four-wheel steer, two-wheel steer and crab steer at the flick of a switch, without having to manually realign the wheels.

Like previous models, the JCB Agri's spacious cab provides excellent comfort, superb noise control and exceptional visibility, creating a superb working environment for greater operator productivity.

Service access to the engine and cooling pack has been improved and the air conditioning condenser has been relocated to the cab roof to make access for cleaning easier. The new models also feature a larger fuel tank for longer working periods.

Mark Calcott says the meticulously designed Agri Loadalls offer exceptional performance and unbeatable reliability. They are available from Landpower Centres nationwide.
