Leica Geosystems Participates in Hexagon 2011 International Conference

Leica Geosystems has attended the Hexagon 2011 International Conference, which was held from June 6 – 9 at the Orlando World Center Marriot Resort in Orlando, Florida. Leica Geosystems was joined alongside with Z/I Imaging, Intergraph and Hexagon Metrology.

Juergen Dold, President of Hexagon Geosystems, and Ken Mooyman, President of Hexagon Systems NAFTA, presented the Geosystems@Hexagon 2011 track called “Advancing Earth’s Infracture with Measurement Technologies.”

This keynote provided an overview portfolio of Leica Geosystems and Z/I imaging solutions and their expertise in addressing many global challenges and associated macro-trends. Attendants also learned the end user and client benefits from Geosystems solutions interface with the leverage Intergraph and Metrology solutions.

“Hexagon 2011 unites a broad base of customers and partners from all over the world. These next few days provide an unique opportunity to showcase the synergies across various industries and the importance of measurement technologies in helping our customers meet some of the greatest challenges facing mankind today“, says Mooyman.

The Geosystems@Hexagon 2011 track also featured more than 100 targeted breakout sessions, which were tailored into three sub-tracks – “Trends in Mapping & Positioning for Government and Industry”, “HDS/Laser Scanning” and “Geospatial Solutions”.

The Geosystems@Hexagon 2011 track also included hands-on training courses, new technology previews, interactive demonstrations and workshops, customer testimonials and unlimited networking opportunities.
