MISU Screening attachment for carrier machines
MISU , the Mobile Integrated Screening Unit is a screening attachment that can be adapted for use on a range of carrier machines. MISU screening units utilise the latest mobile screening technology. The screening units can be adapted on excavators, skidsteers, backhoes and wheel loaders.
The screening unit of MISU functions as a filtration system that screens different forms of materials using the patented multiple spinning rotor system. The rotor system of MISU allows smaller particles to pass through and hold back larger particles. The rotors mix and crush softer materials also. When the unit runs, one of each rotor 'floating' in position will constantly free materials that will stick to the rotors and block the screen. With this floating position, MISU can screen wet and dry materials. The MISU technique uses intermeshing rotating discs on shafts in the open end of the unit to screen materials.
The MISU screening units sources its power from the hydraulic system of the carrier units in which the screening unit is adapted. The two variables that need to be taken care of while selecting and matching a MISU screen to a carrier unit are the weight and the hydraulic horsepower of the carrier units.
