MacDon is offering a completely redesigned A series of self-propelled Windrower Auger Headers. The augers have been extensively reengineered that literally every contact point with the crop has been tweaked or modified. This ensures optimal performance during a wide range of conditions. Up to 25% more capacity than previous MacDon benchmarks. The A Series Auger Headers also features a fully-hydraulic design with on-the-go hydraulic reversing capability of reel, sickle, auger and conditioner on the A40-D and A40-D Grass Seed models. These features allow the operator of the machine to be in full control of all harvesting adjustments from the comfort of the operator’s seat. This is a real time saver when moving from field to field or adjusting to changing crop conditions.
