Studs for breeding from Merrignee


Merrignee  offer Merino and Poll Merino studs for breeding. Merrignee are situated on the South West Slopes near Boorowa, New South Wales. Merrignee were founded by Charlie and Pip Merriman. Their children Jonathan and Karina are also actively involved in the business.

Merino studs from Merrignee include nearly 1100 stud ewes, which are offered for sale every year. Merrignee provide three main types of wool, which include superfine, fine and fine-medium ranging from 16 microns to 20 microns. Merrignee also offer true Italian type ultra fine and superfine to top spinners.

Merrignee studs are registered with the Poll Flock No. 1100 and Horn Flock No. M4417. Merrignee stud possess accreditations from Free CW 90/33 and Ovine Footrot. In 2008, Merrignee plan to offer rams for sale at Hamilton and Bendigo. In 2009, Merrignee will offer rams for sale at Canberra and at Great Southern Merino show.
