Munash  Natural Fertilisers were approached in 2007 by the Dunnstown Football Club to help improve their heat and drought damaged oval.

Munash Natural Fertilisers is passionate about helping farmers and industries improve soil quality in an environmentally-friendly manner. Their company's approach involves replacing and balancing naturally occurring minerals and trace elements so things grow naturally. The fertilisers and other products re-create the natural process that occurs in the earth to restore soil to its proper level of health.

Munash Natural Fertilisers CEO and founder, Ian Munro, emphasised the simplicity and effectiveness of their approach.

“Our natural fertilisers have been developed over more than a decade, are patented in Australia and New Zealand, and are used on farms, sporting grounds and gardens across Australia and New Zealand,” Mr Munro said.

“Improving soil quality doesn’t have to be complicated. Our focus is to use the least amount of fertiliser possible, because if all you are doing is putting more and more fertiliser on your oval or crop then you aren’t treating the problem.

“We help you fix the problem, use less fertiliser each year and still produce exceptional sporting grounds, crops and livestock,” he added.

Dunnstown Football Club is now enjoying the benefits of having one of the greenest ovals in Ballarat, thanks to a natural fertiliser that was originally created for farmers but is so versatile that it is being used by a range of industries, parks, gardens and sporting clubs.
