OmniSTAR OCSAT customers need to switch frequencies by 22nd March 2012

Supplier News

Australian and New Zealand customers of OmniSTAR should be aware of the upcoming change to its satellite frequencies in early 2012.  The change is in response to changes made by global telecommunications satellite providers.

OmniSTAR customers using OCSAT have an 8 week switch over period, where the new and existing frequencies will both be operational.  This period runs from 26th January to 22nd March 2012.

At the end of this time, on 22nd March 2012 all OCSAT customers will be using the new frequency.

OmniSTAR recommends that, to ensure a smooth transition, all of its customers change the frequency of their receivers before this date.

Contact OmniSTAR for information about the new frequencies and for help and assistance with switching to the new frequency without interrupting business as usual.

OmniSTAR has also made technical help and information available on its website, with specific, easy to follow directions for each of its receivers.
