The PulseMaster transmitter system has been designed by Orbit Communications to monitor water flow or rainfall. With a unit which has a single digital input that can accept pulse from a tipping bucket rain gauge or a water meter output.
The systems maximum range is up to 10km and can be configured to send a transmission each time a tip occurs. Readings may also be transmitted at pre-determined reporting times.
The PulseMaster has a 12V battery that is charged by a 5W solar panel. The average current is less than 100UA, so if needed the system is able to run for long periods of time on just battery.
The heavy duty IP65 weatherproof enclosure that the transmitter system is supplied in has a hinged front door for convenient access, padlock facility and mountain feet for simple installation.
