As demand for Sunflower oil increases, Pacific Seeds have developed a range of hybrid plants to consistently provide growers with high yield and maximum returns. The changing dynamics of the sunflower industry indicate the need for three major types of sunflowers: Traditional polyunsaturated, monounsaturated and the developing birdseed/ confectionery market variety.

Pacific Seeds offer the Hysun, Hyoleic 41 and Sunbird 7 varieties.

  • Produces a very good percentage of high level mono-unsaturated oil

Sunbird 7 for high yield and maximum returns

  • Features excellent disease tolerance and highly reliable under stress
  • Produces large, attractive and highly sort after grey striped seeds 
  • Ideal for birdseed
