Py-Bo natural pyrethrum insecticidal concentrate controls all aphids, thrips, caterpillars, whiteflies, leafhopper ants and earwigs.
Formulated solvent-free to avoid leaf burn, the insecticide requires only a 1-day withholding period, which means that fruit and vegetable crops sprayed one day can be consumed the next day.
A long-lasting residue does not benefit the plants in any way as new leaves appear every other day that will be eaten by the insects.
Some growers of crops in protected facilities such as greenhouses use pyrethrum to kill off the last of the pests before their old crop is removed. This significantly reduces the threat to the next crop without leaving any residue.
