In 2009 Polaris reported its best first quarter sales on record with a 6.4 percent growth and achieved the number one selling ATV in the country. This achievement is particularly significant due to the overall contraction of the ATV market by 13.2 per cent.

Managing Director of Polaris Australia & NZ, Peter Alexander, expressed his satisfaction with the company’s results, adding that the growth had resulted in Polaris’s highest market share ever.

Polaris’s top selling ATV, the Hawkeye 2x4 was designed specifically for the Australian market. It is the first non-Japanese brand to be the top selling product.

Polaris anticipates more good news later on this year after the completed launch of the company’s biggest new product in its 55 years history. Alexander said that the sales demonstrate the appreciation of the Australian farming community of reliable, high performance machinery.

Polaris has been supplying farming equipment for over 15 years and has developed a strong reputation within the agricultural industry.
