The Polaris Racing Team heads into the International Rally of Queensland, round two of the Australian Rally Championship (ARC).

After placing first in April’s Quit Forest Rally in WA and coming out with maximum points, the Polaris Racing Team heads into this week’s Rally, poised for strong competition in the side by side (SXS) challenge against arch rival Can-Am.

Polaris Racing driver 4-time Asia Pacific Rally Champion Cody Crocker, co-driver Greg Foletta and the team have spent the past few weeks working on and testing their reliable and race proven Polaris RZR XP 900.

Observing that Can-Am really put the pressure on them early on in the WA Rally, Cody Crocker says that it is good to see the gaps between all Polaris and Can-Am competitors getting closer, truly making for an exciting competition.

Crocker added that their RZR performed faultlessly in WA but he still had to push it to its limits. Having tested out a few things on the RZR, the team heads into this week’s Rally ready to put the pressure back onto Can-Am.

The Queensland Rally will see the return of Polaris veteran racers Iain Hughes and co-driver Adam Barnes.

This week’s Rally will also see newcomer Chris Rosch enter his RZR XP 900 into the ARC SXS challenge. Chris explains that he owns a Polaris RZR and thought the ARC SXS Challenge was a great way to not only use his RZR but also to get involved in motorsport at a very low cost. His co-driver will be newcomer Adam Green, a local Polaris Mechanic from Polaris dealer Luke Beechey Motorsports.

The International Rally of Queensland this week will see three Polaris RZR XP 900s take on three Can-Am Mavericks.
