RMSS launches Plant Safety Manager© in Australia for Business Services

The Plant Safety Manager has been launched in Australia and is quickly being recognised as one of the most productive and efficient tools to assist in the risk assessing of plant & machinery.

“In a world where risk assessment has become a part of our everyday lives, your product has made the process easy, and value-adds to the performance of the function of conducting the assessment.” said Mr Richard Lewis, Agribusiness Manager of William Adams.

Plant Safety Manager©, a business services management tool has been developed by Risk Management & Safety Systems Pty Ltd who have been servicing Australian businesses for over 20 years with innovative risk management solutions.

“During the late 1980’s, RMSS staff, working in close association with key clients, developed an innovative strategy for the conduct of quantified risk assessments as part of an integrated approach to managing Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)” said Andrew Howarth, RMSS Managing Director.

“With clients such as BOSCH, CSR, and Select Australasia, RMSS is extremely well established and respected as an innovative solution provider and leader within the Risk Management Industry” Mr Howarth said.

The latest addition to the product suite, the Plant Safety Manager©, currently is focused at enabling dealers of agricultural machinery and construction equipment, to conduct quick, yet comprehensive occupational health and safety risk assessments, prior to offering machinery for sale.

Plant Safety Manager© is the first risk assessment tool in the agricultural and construction industries that is completely paper free, as it guides users through the process of hazard identification, risk assessment and generation of reports.

“What adds to this innovation is that this is achieved by using a handheld Pocket PC, without the need for an Internet connection while in the field. All this functionality installed on a device weighing as much as a mobile phone” says Stewart Dodwell of DMS Auction Services, an RMSS client.

Stored in the applications database are 1000’s of different models for all common agricultural machinery and construction equipment. Along with this is a unique hazard identification checklist for each and every item to be assessed.

Once purchased, you are able to do an unlimited number of assessments for years to come.

Further information is available from the RMSS website.
