SCRAP – School Communities Recycling All Paper – is a non-profit organisation that focuses in helping schools, companies, households and other organisations to be environmentally-friendly. SCRAP started in 1991 with the first mass scale paper recycling program in NSW schools. The program has currently reached over 3,500 schools and organisations.

SCRAP also developed the first Sustainable Schools Program in 2000, which offers alternative methods in eliminating and recycling waste ranging from worms, worm farms and compost systems, water conservation and water recycling systems and alternative energy efficient systems.

SCRAP works with industry professionals and offers goods and services in environmental auditing and consultancy to help improve companies and organisations to become more environmentally friendly.
