Schering-Plough provides products for animal health. Footvax is a vaccine, which is administered for preventing footrot. This is mainly administered to goats and sheep. The Footvax vaccine, offered by Schering-Plough, contains an adjuvant, which ensures reliable and consistent immunity. This vaccine can be used for the treatment as well as prevention of footrot. Application of this product also eliminates the need for foot bathing and pairing.
Guardian 6 in 1 is another product for animal health from Schering-Plough. The product offers protection against black disease, pulpy kidney, tetanus, malignant edema, blackleg and cheesy gland in lambs and sheep. Seasonal boosters of this product are recommended in areas that have a high risk of these diseases.
Imizol from Schering-Plough is administered for the treatment of ticks. This product contains imidocarb diproponate and it is administered as a subcutaneous injection. This product is useful for the treatment and prevention of tick fever or redwater, especially in cattle.
Taswax 5 in 1 is another vaccine from Schering-Plough. This is mainly administered to goats for protecting them against tetanus, black disease, edema, malignancy and pulpy kidney. A booster of this product is required every four to six months. After the treatment, annual boosters for prevention are also recommended.
