Silvan Australia  is now offering the new TeeJet e-Chemsaver electronic nozzle as an optional extra on all its boom sprayers.

The e-Chemsaver electric nozzle allows operators to control the end of the boom spray direct from the tractor or vehicle cabin, enabling the boom tip spray to be turned on or off as needed.

This function is controlled electronically rather than mechanically and is ideal for spraying under fence lines, plantations or wind breaks, at the end of turning circles, on tractor or wheel paths, or any area which cannot be reached under normal passes by the spray rig.

Silvan Australia spokesman Leigh O’Rielly says that the key features of the new TeeJet e-Chemsaver electric nozzle is its ability to eliminate chemical waste and its ability to facilitate application where spray coverage needs to be targeted rather than mis-applied.

“The new tip achieves on or off control in one quarter of a second and is powered by a twelve volt power source which gives the operator individual control over the spray application being achieved by the end of the boom application," says O'Reilly.

E-Chemsaver electric nozzles for boom sprayers are available as an option on new Silvan Australia sprayers or as a retrofit to all Silvan boom sprayers.
